Living Destiny Church is experiencing growth! LDC was established in 2013 by Moses Asamoah Jr. Pastor Moses was in the process to become a medical doctor when he received the calling from God to pastor. Equipped with a vision of a four-way intersection in southern VA, God led Pastor Moses to the Norview sub-division in the city of Norfolk, VA. In 2015, LDC procured its own space to worship and by 2019 a 2-service worship schedule was implemented to avoid over-running its building capacity limits.
God has blessed the outreach and evangelism that takes place throughout the Norview communities. As such, Living Destiny’s current facilities can no longer contain its ministry needs. A church building project has been launched to raise $200,000 to fund it.
Living Destiny Church aims to build an overcoming church out of broken lives through the power of Jesus Christ. Pastor Moses has a heart to evangelize to the communities, youth and families within the Norview neighborhoods. As such, increased space is needed to house the infant, children’s and youth ministry needs. The Food Pantry with LDC has outgrown its current space. The vision here is to create a larger pantry where individuals in need can shop for the exact foods they need and to meet their dietary restrictions. Much of the direct work with Norview youth and families is done through Living Destiny’s Destiny Empowerment Center. Additional space is needed to give a permanent work that is done and to house equipment such as computers to be used by participants.
